The Wasco Sanitary District (WSD) has completed the development of an asset management plan (AMP). The purpose and intent of the AMP is to assess and evaluate the condition, capacity, and remaining useful life of all WSD capital assets, which include the sewage collection system, wastewater treatment facility, water distribution system, and water treatment plant.

As capital infrastructure ages or new equipment needs are identified, the AMP provides a roadmap for prioritizing and budgeting capital improvement projects to ensure continuous, reliable utility services for all WSD customers, and at the same time adhering to fiscally responsible decision-making. The AMP is a living document and will be updated annually to ensure cost-effective water and sewer service.
